to create anew.
I'm Allison Elizabeth McCue Blackburn. Nice to meet you!
I chose the picture above because this is me with an excited smile. I know that because my nose crinkles when I'm excited. I'm excited in this photograph because it was the early Spring of 2010, a few weeks before my wedding, during my bridal shoot taken by my best friend, Caroline Fontenot. I also chose this picture because I'm holding a pennant banner that I made for our wedding, which is significant because my wedding marked the beginning of my journey of recreating things. I'd always considered myself a creative person, but it wasn't until I made most of the decorative pieces for my wedding that I began to realize just how much joy I found in recreating.
Consider yourself my accountability to keep recreating.

I met Steven at a summer camp in 2004. I've loved him ever since.
We got married on April 10th, 2010
